What VU-Task Does

VU-Task is a Chrome extension that reads your Virtual University of Pakistan LMS Activity Calendar and syncs events to your personal Google Calendar.

Data We Access

• LMS calendar event titles, dates, and course names (read from the LMS page you are already viewing)
• Your Google Calendar (to create, update, and delete events)
• Your Google account email address (displayed in the extension popup)

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any data on external servers
• We do not read your passwords, messages, or personal files
• We do not track your browsing history
• We do not share any data with third parties
• We do not run ads

Where Your Data Goes

All data stays between your browser and your own Google Calendar. Nothing is sent to any server operated by the developer. Sync state is stored locally in your browser using Chrome Storage.

Google Calendar Access

VU-Task requests permission to create and manage a dedicated "VU LMS" calendar in your Google account. This calendar contains only events synced from your LMS. You can delete this calendar at any time from Google Calendar settings or by clicking "Disconnect" in the extension.

Removing Your Data

Click "Disconnect" in the extension popup. This will delete the "VU LMS" calendar and all its events from your Google Calendar, and clear all local extension data.
